Claudie Beaulieu, Principal Investigator

Claudie is an associate professor in the Ocean Sciences Department at UC Santa Cruz. Her research aims to quantify ocean & climate variability and change through a data science lens. She received a NSF CAREER award to investigate space-time variations in the pace of temperature change. Before moving to Santa Cruz, she spent five years in the School of Ocean and Earth Sciences at the University of Southampton in the UK. She did a postdoc with Jorge Sarmiento at Princeton University and worked with Taha Ouarda at INRS Eau Terre Environnement and Ousmane Seidou at University of Ottawa during her PhD.
